PassMark Software Announces Change of Ownership
Sydney, Australia / Redwood City, USA - PassMark Software, the company behind widely used PC benchmarking, hardware testing, and digital forensics products, today announced a change of ownership. PassMark has been acquired by Jackson Allan, together with a group of private investors. Founder David Wren remains a shareholder in PassMark, with Jackson stepping in to lead the business. PassMark continues to operate as an independent, privately owned software and hardware development group, with day-to-day operations, products, and support unchanged.
David Wren, who founded PassMark in 1998 and has led the business for the past 28 years, has deep technical knowledge across PassMark's full product range. He will support the transition of ownership and technical leadership through the first year and beyond.
Jackson Allan brings extensive experience in commercial leadership and growing international businesses, and is relocating to Sydney to lead PassMark. "PassMark is a trusted brand that has been built over more than 25 years on technical rigour and quality," said Jackson Allan. "Our priority is to build on that and continue investing in PassMark's products and team."
