  • Really bad 3D Mark score

The 3D Mark score is really bad compared to what it should be for my model. Is my GPU dying?

    Yes, the results are low.

Thanks for the reply. I followed the suggestions by updating my drivers and checking if hardware acceleration was on. The performance improved a bit, the score is now 917. But it still seems to be very low. Any more suggestions? Really appreciate the help.

What CPU is in the machine and how much RAM?
What are the temperatures under load?
What driver version are you now using?
        Is this Win10?

The CPU is Intel Core i5-4460 and I have 8 gigabytes of RAM
I think my temperature sensors are bad because they show 95 degrees Celsius while the usage is 1% and the same while the usage is 99%
The GPU driver version is 416.16
          This is Windows 10

            Hmmmm.
If I had high temperatures readings and really low performance, I would assume the readings are correct and there was thermally throttling.

But wouldn't the temperatures still be higher while at 99% load?

No, both CPUs and GPUs both thermally throttle down their speeds to avoid getting too hot.

Would changing the thermal paste on the GPU help?

Don't know. Depends on what the problem is. For example if the fan isn't working, then changing thermal paste isn't going to help.

                      The fans are definitely spinning.
