PassMark audio loopback cables contain two 3.5mm gold plated stereo plugs which connect the audio out and line in ports of your sound card during sound card loopback testing. This audio test equipment would typically be used hand in hand with specific test software to provide a system for sound card troubleshooting (BurnInTest and/or SoundCheck). For instance BurnInTest generates an audio test tone which is analysed for purity upon loopback. The following are the cable specifications.

These cables connect the Audio Out port to the Line In port of your sound card
Compatibility
Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP are supported through BurnInTest.
Windows 95 and NT4 are also supported through SoundCheck.
In order to use the cables, one of the following PassMark
applications is required:
- BurnInTest version 3.1 or above.
- SoundCheck version 1.0 or above.
