which is better over all? NVIDIA GeForce 8300GS vs ATI RADEON X600 PRO?

You are going to have a problem comparing these cards becuase the 8300GS doesn't actually exist in the NVidia 8xxx range.

It might be a custom video card made for Dell?

I would take the X600, but only becuase I would know what I am buying.
