video test window doesn't open?

Hi all-

I just purchased Burnin and had a question regarding the video test. I have a 10mb avi on my desktop that I link to on the test page but when I start Burnin, a window doesn't seem to open as it does on all the others. Is this done in the background or am I doing something wrong?

I assume you mean that you have entered the Video file name in Preferences-> Video Playback, "1. Video file path" (e.g. C:\Windows\Clock.avi) and selected OK. On running the tests you should see a Video playing in a Window, "BurnInTest - Video Playback", if not you should get an error (it does not run in the background).

Are any errors reported?

Can you try another test video file, like Clock.avi, or download samples from here to check if they work:

Thanks, Ian. Yes, the path is correct; it's on the desktop. I'll try again when I get home (I'm at work).
