Virtuozzo VPS

I just ran this on my VPS using the Virtuozzo system. The install said it was not able to load the sys driver, so maybe that affects the result??

Comparing it to my 4 year old P4 laptop... It give fast CPU, and some memory ops. But really falls behind in these areas;

Mem cached read / cached write ~ 900 each
Disk seq read / seq write ~ 10 each
Disk mark = 96 (this laptop is 220).

We have done no testing with Virtuozzo and don't have any experience with it.

Not being able to load the DirectIO.sys driver doesn't affect the benchmark results, just the ability to the software to collect some system information.

The slow performance in some areas is probably at least in part the result of the software driven machine virtualization used by Virtuozzo.
