Building A New PC - Please Help

Hey Guys

Firstly thanks for taking the time to view my post.

I would like to build a decent gaming pc and would like to get the views from you people regarding which hardware I should look at buying to get the most out of my buck.

I was looking at around 1300 - 1500 US$ for the complete tower ( inc. tower ).

Since I am no PC guru any help would help !

I didn't price it, but something like

Intel Core i7-3820
Radeon HD 7970
INTEL 520 240GB SSD
Any 2TB secondary drive
8GB RAM, mid range speeds are fine
Big LCD Monitor
Quality ~600W PSU
