We have no plans to make any changes to the pricing. So for the foreseeable future it will be the same.
The subscription is optional. If you don't need support & upgrades, then you don't need to pay it. The software will continue to function regardless.

Thank you for the response. Considering there is a bug fix that will be addressed in the next release I'd consider the subscription to be important. It's good to know that the price will remain steady.
