my brother and sister in-law has my laptop. today i notice that some of the keys don't work.
type of laptop: acre 3690 laptop
keys do not work: k,m,v,z,d,k,n, ctrl or print screen

Did someone spill a drink along the front of the keyboard?
Did you try rebooting the machine in case it is a software issue?
Did you try and external USB keyboard?
