    Default Server Testing (Xeon Processors)

    BurnInTest Team,

I created a Windows 7 WinPE 3.0 BurnInTest V6 Professional (64-bit). I am testing medium to high-end servers. Would there be any difference if I used Windows 7 WinPE or Windows Server 2008 R2 WinPE?

Note: I'm testing these servers with no OS installed. I would prefer to use Windows 7 WinPE, but if there is a difference then I'll create a WinPE image for Windows Server 2008 R2.

    Thanks,

    Brent

Windows 7 Professional will only support 192GB of RAM and a max of 2 physical CPUs I think.
Windows Server 2008 R2 will support 2000GB of RAM and > 2 physical CPUs.

I think Windows Server has DirectX off by default.

Otherwise I can't think of any other relevant differences.
