Direct3D capability disapeared, i865G + Windows 2000

The Direct3D capability disappeard after installation from software. Even when reinstalling the newest driver the Direct3D functionality can't be reactivated.

Any Ideas?

Which software did you install? The installation of PerformanceTest can't possibly effect if 3D acceleration is available or not on your card.

What makes you think it "disappeared"?
