I have no idea! I just downloaded the top file there.

*edit* I notice the second one says 64 bit, downloading & installing that one now...

This is the driver you'll need - http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles...12ahotfix.aspx The hotfix is specific for the 69xx series cards. I don't know if it will fix WoW but that is the specific driver that came out after the original 10.12 on the download page to fix some issues with the 69xx cards.

Also you may want to do a google search for the 6970 and WoW to see any other people having the issues and what they did to fix it.

Bleh, bluescreenofdeath and won't let me start up system....

Anyways, I'll just hope the reason was I used 32bit driver and not 64. I'll also try the new one you linked.

Thanks for all help, I'm giving up on this right now, the blue screen flashes up when trying to start windows, then the computer restarts...

    Going to bed, good night.

Yikes.. Ends at 4:20am.. No more posts? Been there. Ow! Any updates?

I was battling an older ATI card and WOW for a bit. I would sit there and fiddle with each setting in the middle of a busy town and watch frame-rates as I did so. Then I'd get up and run around looking quickly around to make sure there's no hesitation, and that's what I'd play with.

I've since upgraded to a much faster config with ATI (er AMD now) cards in crossfire, so WOW isn't any concerns now. Wish I could help you more?
