    Default diskcheckup as windows service

Hi, I was looking at using DiskCheckup to monitor my file server. I'm looking for a tool that would monitor the disks and send e-mail notifications when something is wrong.

DiskCheckup seems it would be almost the perfect tool, but as far as I can tell it only runs in the context of the currently logged in user. Since typically there is no logged in user, is it possible to configure it to run as a service?

There are 3rd party tools that all any executable to be run as a service. Try a search on Google for options.

You didn't specify why you want to run as a service, but in the off chance it's because you want to run it automatically at startup, I've found that using the Windows 7 task scheduler works flawlessly on Windows 7.

    YMMV.
