    Which is the most compatible GPS setup with the wireless network strength mapping software.

    As long as the GPS unit supports NMEA (min version 0183) and can be connected over a serial port (or virtual serial port in the case of USB units) it should be compatible with WirelessMon. There is a list of unit we have used in this thread http://www.passmark.com/forum/showthread.php?t=535
