Default Why my Intel 3.0E (2M cache) cpu slower than AMD xp 2600+

I just bought a machine with:

    Intel P4-630 3.0E LGA775 L2=2MB
    ASUS P5P800
    Kingston Memory DDR-400 1G

I only run PT for CPU test. The CPU "PassMark Rating" is only 89. Compare to my another PC,

    AMD Althlon XP 2600+
    MSI mother board + 1G DDR-400 Memory

The AMD one "PassMark Rating" is 96.

    Also, my Intel P4 3.2E (47 L2=1MB "Passing Mark is 134.

So, does this 3.0G cpu has any problem? Can anyone help me?

    Thanks,

    David

What version of PerformanceTest are you using?

What is the number of processes that are being used on the various machines? (From the Edit / Preferences window in PerformanceTest).

It might also be interesting to know the individual scores.
