Hello all,

If you go into the bios on a HP nc6120 laptop, there is an option for diags/battery. It lists the following info:
BSN 52347 07/06/2008
C1 5100
C2 4143
C3 4143
ME 2
CC 11
T 26
TV 12493
C 0
DV 10800
MN HP
CV1 0
CV2 4161
CV3 4162
CV4 4170
S 40E0

By going through a number of batteries, I think the following is true:
C1 = Original Design Capacity ie Design Capacity
C2= Full Charge Capacity
C3 = Current Capacity
CC = Charge Cycles
T = Temp
TV = Terminal Voltage
DV = Design Voltage
MN = Manufacturer
C = Charge Rate (+ or - depending on charge or discharge)
No clue on CV1 to CV4, ME or S

The battery says on it that it is a 5100mAh, 10.8V battery

BatteryMon displays the design capacity and the full charge capacity as the same figure on this particular battery.. Can it not pick up the 5100 figure?
Also temperature is N/A in BattMon. We would also be interested if you could pick up the charge cycles and date of manufacture.

This is of course, assuming my "assumptions" are correct!

Regards,

Steve
