    Default Concurrent users

    Hello everyone,

I am currently evaluating TestLog and have a question regarding concurrent users. I'm evaluating it myself, so I haven't been able to answer these questions via testing.

Are there any potential issues with multiple testers executing tests in the same database simultaneously? (My understanding is that the "current editor" has a lock on the file, which could potentially cause syncrhonisation issues if two people are trying to edit test results at the same time.)

    Is my understanding flawed?

    Thanks in advance!

When a test case is opened for editing a lock file is created and there is a visual indication (in the standalone version) that the file is currently locked.

If there is an attempt to open a locked file in either version warning messages will be displayed with the time and user the file was locked by and the option to unlock the file at the users discretion (eg if a file has been locked for an unusually long amount of time).
