We have created what we hope is the biggest, most up to date, most comprehensive set of CPU benchmark charts (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/) in the world. (In terms of number of systems tested and different types of x86 CPUs tested).

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/ (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/)

More than 10,000 systems have been tested covering more than 300 types of CPUs.

Any comments or feedback are very welcome.

We are also pleased to say that we'll be updating these graphs on a daily basis. 21 new machines were added just yesterday.

Hi,

Can you provide a download for the data in the performance charts? Like just the CPU name and the performance number.

At the moment we are only providing the data to the public as graphs. We could prepare a dump of the data in another format if there was some special need (e.g. publishing of an article in a recognised journal). Depending on what was required and how the data would be used, there may be a cost associated with this.

I have no need that could be called 'special'. I just wanted it for personal purposes like shopping or settling arguments, etc. I would dump the data in a database to facilitate lookups and filtering. Thanks anyway.

We have just completed a major update to the CPU Benchmark charts (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/).

Changes include

The inclusion of a table showing all CPUs in alphabetical order for easy searching
Highlighting of a selected CPU in the main charts, when clicked on from the alphabetical listing.
An additional graph showing only the most popular CPUs. Many people found the main charts so comprehensive, that they were overwhelmed by the amount of data. So the smaller, 'common CPU chart' should help with this.
The exclusion of overclocked CPUs from the main charts.
An additional graph showing only overclocked CPUs (which were previous mixed up with the normal results)
The inclusion of more multiple CPU systems in the high end chart
The 'overclockability' of each CPU type now appears in the overclocked CPU chart as a percentage figure. In addition to knowing the fastest CPUs, you can also know the answers to questions like, which CPUs are the most overclockable and which CPUs are the most popular.

Any feedback is welcome.
