I heard bad things about nvidias raid controller built into the nf4 and nf5 motherboards.

I am currently using nvraid and my results are below.
I am running 3x 150 gig WD raptors 10k rpm in raid 5

does anyone else out there have a similar setup using a non nvraid controller? and if so how do the results stack up?
I'm trying to find out if it's worth forking out for a pci raid controller or not.

Our last experience with a PCI Raid controller with 64bit was just awful (http://www.passmark.com/forum/showthread.php?t=533). I would suggest that your current results are pretty reasonable and unless it is broken don't fix it.
