BIT problem

Hiya,

I downloaded the BurnInTest Pro 5.1 trial which installed and ran fine.

For about 10 minutes... then my 3 year old son powered off my comp while it was running.

Now, I start it up and as soon as I click continue on the initial screen (where it says I have 30 days of my trial left), it hangs solid.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Does the same thing.

Am I missing removing something?

If nothing else changed (e.g. no other software or hardware was installed between the working and not working states), then you might have a corrupted file system. You should never (if you can avoid it) power a machine down abruptly.

So run Windows Checkdisk to start with to see if it finds any problems.

Does your entire machine freeze of just the BurnInTest application?
