I did a search and didn't find anything about this topic, so here goes...

Does the disk portion of the testing in Performance Test work with an encrypted drive? In this I'm speaking of whole disk encryption.

Basically I'm looking at this program as a possible tool for evaluating system performance before and after encryption so that my company can determine the difference in performance with various disk encryption suites that we are looking into purchasing.

Thanks in advance!

Yes it should work with all encryption and compression products.

I also had the same questions KRUTAW. I am sure by now you figured this out, and I am sure you found a way to fully utilize benchmark performance 6.1 to find out what full disk encryption suite your company decided to purchase and adopt in the end.

I am doing the same, thing any advice and/or help will be appreciated.

Your approach and the information in your other post is a good startng point for using PerformanceTest for this purpose.
