Predicted TEC Date tomorrow?

I installed DiskCheckup build 1002 two days ago, and started logging attributes with a 10 minute autorefresh.

Drive is a Seagate 80-gig SATA ST380817AS.

The Raw Read Error Rate started at about 500000 or so and is up to 105409557. The Predicted TEC Date is tomorrow?

Is this for real? Or do I have something misconfigured?

Two days is not normally a long enough period to get a meaningful trend. So I would not be too concerned. If you had 2 months of data I think that would be more interesting. (The TEC date is just a extrapolation of a trend, we can't really see into the future)

No excuse for not keeping good backups however.

Big numbers for the RAW values (http://www.passmark.com/forum/showthread.php?t=635) can be normal, but it depends on the drive type.
