Disk Checkup is working fine on my P4 with XP

However, after installing on my PII with W98, copying smartvsd to IOSUBSYS directory and checking BIOS HDD SMART capability enabled, still get this error message:

"There were errors trying to gather the SMART info. You have no access rights to gather drive information."

Suggestions?

We are currently working on this issue. Some extra information that was added in DiskCheckup v2.0 caused it not to work in Windows 98/Me. We will keep you posted of any new patches that addresses this. Thank you.

We have released a new version (v2.0 build 1002) of DiskCheckup today that will allow you to run DiskCheckup in Windows 98. You can download it by following the "Download (http://www.passmark.com/download/index.htm#diskcheckup)" button from the DiskCheckup product page (http://www.passmark.com/products/diskcheckup.htm) and choose DiskCheckup for Windows 98 or you can download direct from here (http://www.passmark.com/ftp/diskcheckup9x.zip).
