Passmark Rating 32bit XP vs 64bit Vista

My passmark Rating was 303 for an AMD Turion 64 laptop running 32-bit Windows XP Professional.

Will it increase under a 64-bit Windows Vista O/S?

You should post questions related to PerformanceTest in the PerformanceTest form.

Initial benchmark testing has shown 32bit Vista is to slower than 32bit XP (http://www.passmark.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=533).

But testing on XP 64bit has show 64bit to be faster than 32bit (http://www.passmark.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=298) (depending on the applications you run).

So you might see a speed improvement with some 64bit applications, but overall it might be slightly slower.
