Hi

Every time I run complex 3D test I get a black screen and then the program closes.

I have the most recent drivers and updates, my spec is below.

My current result without Complex 3D is 474.5

Any ideas what could be causing this?

There are no known bugs that would cause this.

So you have to consider the possibility that maybe your machine is no longer stable as a result of overclocking.
Note: I am sure you will dismiss this comment as all overclockers fervently believe there machines are rock solid :-)

Another possibility is that latest video drivers are buggy and falling back to an older certified version may fix the problem.

Thanks for the advice, I went back to the previous drivers and it ran, so there must be a bug in their latest drivers.

It turns out there was a problem in our 3D test code. Which did fix one crash bug. We released V6.0.Build 1009 on 24/February/2006 (2 days ago). See also,

This bug caused a crash during initialization of the 3D test which causes a crash during initialization before the 3D test window is displayed.

So it appears that there is still a device driver error that causes this black screen crash.
