416 is a very high score. If anything, it may be above average.
The best way to compare your results to others is by downloading our online archive of over 800 baseline files available from...
http://www.passmark.com/baselines
This will allow you to compare your rig to others on a test by test basis.
Note however, that only the licensed version of PerformanceTest allows you to view these files...

Have fun...

Seems ok:)

I scored 550 points but that was on a P4 2800 @3232 and an ATI9700pro but NO Raid.
Also 512MB PC3500 (DDR434)@DDR412 Dual Channel Mobo :)

You should be aware that this post was started a long time ago. (More than a year ago in fact).

So you should be careful when comparing results from V5 of PerformanceTest to V4 of PerformanceTest. They are not always directly comparable.

306 is a reasonable score in PerformanceTest V5, for the hardware that you have.

The top PassMark ratings are the moment are in the 600 - 700 range (as at June 2004). But to get from where to are now into the 600+ range you'll proably need a new video card (maybe a Radeon 9800XT), a RAID disk system, a faster CPU (and then probably a 2nd CPU or some serious overclocking), which would mean a new motherboard as well.

Of course we don't recomend overclocking, but the top scoring machines are either overclocked or dual CPU.

There is a list of the fastest PCs and their baseline files can be found here,
http://www.passmark.com/baselines/topten.php

As previously stated, if you purchase PerformanceTest, then you can download the baseline files from our web site.
