I scored a 209.2

I have about 13 gigs of room left from 37gigs.


I noticed some really low scores on the following tests:

Graphics 3D complex - 2.56/10
Disk Random Seek + RW - 1.36/10
CD Read - 1.67/10
Graphics 2D-GUI - 103/200

If possible, can someone with adequate knowledge, recommend upgrades for my laptop?

If you don't have a lot of computer knowledge interpreting the results can be confusing. There are however a few simple concepts that can help you.

+ The bigger the number the faster the computer.

+ The results are not a percentage figure. Nor are they are score out of 10 or 200. They are relative figures.

+ A computer with a result of 400 can process roughly twice as much data as a computer with a result of 200.

So for example a score of 2.56 might be quite normal for your video card. (and not a low score at all, for your hardware)

In general portable computers have limited options for upgrading in any case. You generally can't change the CPU, nor hard drive, nor the CD-R, nor the video card.
