I'm running win2000, and when I run movies the computer hangs completely after a couple of seconds. So, I used your BurnInTest to diagnose what does the problem. The computer hangs as expected. Now what? (no log file was saved).

By the way before it hanged, it wrote something about reduction in samples.

I suspect my awful video card Geforce 4. But how do I know if it's a hardware problem, drivers maybe it's related to ACPI - interrrupt collision?

Thanks

This post was in the wrong forum. It should be moved to BurnInTest.

In BurnInTest, try turning off all the tests except one. For example just run the hard disk test, then just run the CPU test, etc..

Knowing which test provokes the lockup will help determine the problem.

Lockups are often caused by bad device drivers so don't immediately assume the harwdare is at fault. Try updating your drivers and BIOS before replacing any hardware.
