CPU performance over the years

I am interested in seeing just the peak performance number for CPUs plotted over time, perhaps on a monthly basis? Is that information available?

Not publicly. We have more than 200,000 performance results from more than 1000 CPU types, and the dates when they were executed. But it would take some effort to identify the initial release dates of each CPU type and plot them.

If you had a budget for it we could produce a graphs like this as a service (http://www.passmark.com/services/market-analysis.htm).
