Hello,

I am using BurnInTest Linux Version 2.0 (Build 1006), only 4GB memory size can be detected under Linux 32bit PAE mode when the size over 4GB. But the OS can detect all memory size. I tried on RedHat 5.3 32bit and SuSE11 32bit PAE mode, but it can be passed to detect over 4GB memory size under Linux 64bit OS.

Whether is this caused by BurnInTest tool? Please kindly advise. Thank you.

In PAE mode while the operating system can see more than 4GB i believe each process is still limited to being able to use 4GB of RAM. You will need to use a 64bit OS and the 64bit version of BurnInTest to test more than 4GB of RAM in Linux.

But more than 4GB memory can be used by other tool under PAE mode, do you have any plan to fix this issue in next BurnIn version?

No fix is required. It just doesn't make sense to use a 32bit O/S on 64bit hardware with more than 4GB of RAM. Use a 64bit O/S and the 64bit version of BurnInTest.
