RS232 format or protocol

Hi,

I am currently using a standard SMBus to RS232 converter off-the-rack. Is it possible for the passmark's BATMON.EXE version to communicate via RS232 to this converter?

There seems to be no respond after some tries, anyone can advice what is the RS232 communication protocol for Batmon ver2.0?

The protocol is similar in some respects to what is sent on the SMBus for a battery system, but not the same.
