Freezing

Hi,

I downloaded the eval of Wireless mon, and I am using it on XP Pro, service pack 3. Hardware is, Dell Lat D620 wireless card is Intel Pro/wireless 3945ABG.

When running wireless mon, I was walking around creating a map, and it would freeze for several minutes, I could not enter any more points, and I could not click any of the tabs or buttons. After a while, (about 5 minutes) it lets me click again, though it usually freezes again. Really not usable like this, I was runing the eval to see how it stacked against Ekahau (I need something that can run longer than 15 minutes, other than that Ekahau's free one is perfect) I have been comparing several different products, Celtrio, Sitestumbler, etc to see which one I should purchase for the college. We don't need anything complex, and because of that, obviously your product is VERY attractive for us, but To evaluate it, I have to keep it from freezing up on me. How can I be certain the pro version won't do the same?

Any thoughts?

Could you please install this build, http://www.passmark.com/ftp/wirelessmon3.0.1003a.exe, and let me know if the freeze is still happening.

Also check you have the most recent driver for the network card as some of the older Vista drives were particularly buggy (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2259).

Looks like that version doesn't lock up on me.. So far, looking good.
