When running sound test with BIT 5.3 Pro it appears to occasionally created an erroneous error at the completion of the test. Up to that point everything is fine and it does not appear to have an error although one shows up in the log. Sound test was the only selected test running 2 minutes max with 3 iterations choosen.

Which build of BurnInTest are you using, e.g. 1036?
What tests are you running with the sound test?
Are you running the sound loopback test or the playback test?

Problem can be easily recreated running Sound Test by itself.
Using 1036.
Loopback testing with 10% distortion.

Peter,
We have made some changes to the latest version of BurnInTest, V6.0.1005.0003 (yet to be released) that we believe resolves this issue. We plan to release new public builds later week.
There are no plans for changes to V5.3 of BurnInTest.

Ian
