:confused:Hi I AM NEW TO THE WIFI WORLD I WANT TO KNOW HOW DO I SET UP MY LAPTOP TO GET FREE CONNECTION TO INTERNET NEAR HOT SPOTS IF POSSIBLE ARE THEIR ANY PROGRAM YOU HAVE TO INSTALL PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOMEONE I AM NEW TO THIS THANK YOU.

You can use our WirelessMon software (http://www.passmark.com/products/wirelessmonitor.htm) to locate secure and open hotspots (assuming you have a wireless network card). But we would suggest you get permission from the owner of the access point before you start using someone elses bandwidth.

Ok This Computer Is Averatec 32oo Laptop It Has Button With A Green Attena That Lights Up Green Which I Think Is Wifi If It Is Do I Still Need Card. Thank For Responce.

If the latop has built in Wifi, then you don't need a Wifi card. You do need the correct device drivers however. These will have come with the laptop (probably pre-installed). But as this is a old machine, you should check with the manufactuers for updates.
