Greetings,
i tried the performance test on my cpu E8200 and i had a passmark rating of 861.
i have seen that cpu similar to mine have scored much more so i was guessing whats wrong.
i used performance test v6.1 on trial version.
my machine is:
CPU : E8200 @2666 (default)/ bus speed: 333Mhz / multiplier : x8
GPU : HD3870
ram : kingston pc6400 4x1gb
MOBO : P5Q pro
Vista 64bit

btw i have an old sata HDD, can it influence the overall score?

thanks for help

i add here the benchmark:

The average CPU mark for a E8200 is 1810 (http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=Intel+Core2+Duo+E8200+%40+2.66G Hz). So your CPU score of 1721 is within 5% of the average. i.e. pretty normal.

Yes, your hard disk result forms part of the overall PassMark rating. While your result isn't spectacular, it is acceptable, especially if it is an older drive.
