How so slow - Athlon x2 64bit Windows

First off i hope iv posted this in tbe correct place :D

I ran a test on cpu today and downloaded a baseline of a system similar to mine. only difference is he has 4gig ram i hadve 2gb xms2 ram

any idea why my processor shows half the speed of his?? i have all drivers latest from asus, newish bios as you can see in the report latest nforce drivers from nvidia which i doubt helps.

Check in the edit / preferences window to ensure you have the number of processes set to 2 (ore higher). Also check you have the latest 64bit edition of PerformanceTest (not the 32bit edition).

excellent it lines up now haha mine beats the system with 4 gig in.. would it be worth buying 2x 2gb sticks of ram to upgrade my system pushing it to 6gb or shold i just go the whole way and get 4x 2gb???

For most applications (but not all) you won't notice the difference between 2GB and 4GB. I would save up and get a whole new machine in 6 months instead.
