WirelessMon works with Ad-Hoc mode?

I think the title says it all. I know the software shows the strength from access points, but can I see the strength from ad-hoc networks (that is...computers I directly connect to with my wireless network card)?

Yes you will be able to see the connection strength between the two machines, though you might not be able to connect to an ad-hoc network in the current build of WirelessMon. This will be fixed in version 3.
