Burnintest to load on usb or burn on CD

I have downloaded the burnintest without the installer and uninstaller. It is a zip folder. Now how do I proceed to burn on CD or save it in USB stick. Do I need to Extract the files before saving on USB or burning CD or do I just burn as it is ie zip format?

Also, how do I create the key.dat file? The instructions are not that clear. do I need to create this after I have saved it on USB or burnt the CD? Also, I can't find the bit.exe directory.

I would appreciate clearer instructions so that I may complete this task successfully and then test my pc from USB or CD.
