geforce 8600gts vs ati x1950 pro

please tell me with qurantee that which one is the fastest and good card.
1.geofrce 8600gts with 512 mb 2.0 GHz
or
2.ati x1950 pro with 512 mb 1.4 GHz.

Now which one will be faster and better but remeber 8600gts is directx10 and ATI x1950 pro is directx 9.but what about the performance test result for both card and graphic quality.....i will be waiting for answers.
